Wondering Who I Am?
When I was a little girl, I was labelled as “different” due to a speech impediment and the colour of my skin. I was bullied relentlessly. As a result, I was shy and introverted. I was told that I would not amount to anything or go far in life. Despite the bullying and being underestimated, I refused to let their negative words define me. In fact, it only motivated me to prove the naysayers wrong. Thanks to the unwavering support of my parents and a dedicated teacher, I overcame my speech impediment. I also overcame my shyness and excelled in school. I also discovered my talent for acting. Acting in school plays and stage productions was such a thrilling experience. It was acting that truly helped me come out of my shell. Acting allowed me to showcase my talents, gain the confidence needed to overcome childhood obstacles, and discover my true potential.
Today, I am a professional working actress/model and television host that has been featured in national commercials, music videos, television shows, stage plays, films and leading magazines.
Additionally, I have been a guest speaker, as well as a moderator on panel discussions featuring award-winning casting directors, producers, agents and Emmy-nominated actors.
For me, acting is not a hobby. Acting is not just a passion. It is a part of who I am. I’m grateful for the journey it has taken me on thus far.
Being able to work as an actress for several years is a dream come true. It’s an incredible feeling that I wish every actor could experience. I am also glad to be able to combine my acting skills and experience with my knowledge gained from my marketing management degree. I enjoy using my acting, along with my marketing skills, to help other actors to connect with key decision makers in the industry. As an actress and actor marketing expert, I’m passionate about helping others succeed. My unique combination of skills has allowed me to build a network of influential power players in the entertainment industry. Now, it’s time to empower actors to help them turn their dreams into reality. Life is too short not to pursue your dreams!
